Measurable Change Through Inclusion

Shoeb’s journey from a normal school to Ummeed is a story of remarkable transformation. Initially having low vision and able to read only large prints, his vision deteriorated due to multiple eye surgeries, leading to complete blindness. Enrolling at Ummeed in 2011, his dedication and the support he received have been outstanding. Today he serves as a Special Educator at Ummeed, guiding and inspiring new students with his own experiences.

Tabish joined Ummeed with low vision and completed his SSC with us. His journey didn’t stop there — Tabish is now working as an IT Technician at the same school, contributing his skills and knowledge to support his peers and the institution.

Fazal’s progress is a testament to the impact of our specialized education. Initially facing challenges with intellectual disabilities and visual impairments, he learned to write in Braille and use the Abacus. In 2018–19 he successfully completed his HSC through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with an impressive 68%. Currently, Fazal works at Reliance Mart, Kalwa — showcasing his abilities and independence.
