Improving mobility, strength & independence
Improving Mobility, Strength & Functional Independence
Physiotherapy plays a vital role in helping children with special needs improve their mobility, posture, balance, coordination, muscle strength and overall functional independence through structured, individualized therapeutic intervention.
The department functions under the guidance of Dr. Ali Irani, All India Physiotherapy Dean & Head of Physiotherapy, Nanavati Hospital, ensuring structured rehabilitation planning and quality intervention for every child.
Our Physiotherapy System
At the start of every year, senior physiotherapy experts from Nanavati Hospital assess each child. Based on the assessment, individual therapy goals and annual intervention plans are prepared, then implemented through the year by our in-house team — ensuring consistency, goal-based intervention, professional monitoring, and better developmental outcomes.
